And we thought April was busy……...we had so much fun in May with all of the outings, Silverwood and our 8th Annual Talent Show “Puttin on the Ritz”. 

 

Silverwood was a BLAST!  What a fun night filled with lot’s of food, fun and great weather.  Carla Martin was having a blast with Brandy on the Whirly Gig ride.  Diane Larkin was looking a little pale after getting off of the Round UP ride!   The night went by so fast we did not want it to end.  A must do next year!  A special thanks to the Kirsebom family for getting us all wet at the end of the night!

 Our very own Matthew Burton had his artwork  “Making Change” displayed at the Human Rights Institute in CdA.  He was given $100.00 for his art work at Camp All-Stars Winter break Camp during a tour of the Human Rights Institute.  Mathew, congratulations and we are very proud to have you as a Camper!

 Specialized Needs Recreation receives state recognition:

Idaho Parent's Unlimited awarded Specialized Needs Recreation with the "Most Outstanding Agency" award on May 13th, 2010 at their annual Awards Reception in Boise Idaho. Thanks all of you who nominated SNR for this award! We are very honored and thrilled to have been chosen.

 Diane Larkin was featured in the CdA Press recently in the “It’s my Turn” section.  Victoria Bruno with the City of Coeur d’ Alene wrote a featured article about Diane and her involvement with SNR and the changes SNR has made in Diane’s life.  Diane received a plague and was honored at the City Council meeting, Tuesday May 18, 2010.
